Jason Hope writes on the latest tech trends. He is also a successful entrepreneur, a commentator and a futurist. A man who sees where the world is heading when it comes to tech, and wants to make sure everyone knows about it before we get there and more information click here.
Jason Hope‘s biggest interest over the last few years has been the Internet of Things. The idea that everyone in the developed world will soon be living in homes where every device is connected to every other one.
That means we will be turning lights on and off with our smart phones, checking on the alarm system from work and starting the chicken roasting in the oven while we are still at work and learn more about Jason.
Jason Hope also sees how business is soon going to be jumping on the band wagon when it comes to the devices needed to start this revolution. In fact, he sees most companies investing more money in development of devices that will be inter-connected than in any other field.
To such an extent, he says, it will create a huge amount of competition between companies as they try to outdo each other by developing the best apps or the easiest to use devices. After all, consumers want utility, to make their lives easier, and the companies that are smart have already realized that and resume him.
As for whether this is a positive or a negative thing, Hope sees only positive outcomes.
He uses the example of better real-time mapping via GPS allowing public transportation companies to re-route buses when bad weather causes road problems. Or using apps to make trains more efficient.
Jason Hope became interested in the Internet of Things, and its ability to create a better world, after founding his own tech company.
In the years since then, he has used the money he made to invest in companies he believes are going to improve people’s lives, and to donate to charities that already do.
One of Hope’s favorite projects is the SENS Foundation, a research organization partially funded by the founders of Google.
Hope has donated large amounts of money to the SENS Foundation, as he believes its ground-breaking research into anti-aging is going to change the world as we know it for the better and Jason’s lacrosse camp.
