Louis Chenevert is a successful leader who has shown these through developing different organization all over the world. He attained a degree in production management from the University of Montreal, HEC. He as well serves as the executive member of different organization including the Business Roundtable and also Cargill board of directors, Congressional Medal of Honor Foundation, American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics and Yale Cancer Center’s Advisory Board.

He started working at General Motors St.Therese operation, where he served as the production general manager. He worked at the organization for fourteen years and later joined Pratt and Whitney in the year 1993. He worked at Pratt and Whitney up to the year 1999 then he was chosen as the president of the whole sector of larger United Technologies Corporation-Pratt &Whitney. In the year 2006, he was promoted to president and chief executive officer at UTC due to the hard work and effort that he put through in the organization. He made a good name for himself for the better management that he offered hence it led for the organization to buy Goodrich for $18.4 billion.

Through using his exceptional understanding and expertise to develop the company through making sure that the organization invests in the proper technology. Also, Louis Chenevert encourages the development of the technology in UTC and also the improvement of each person in the organization. The organization with their OTC capitalization on their staff members on Employee Scholar Program ensured that they backup worker who want to pursue further studies. It has seen the organization use one billion dollars for the scholarship program.

Louis Chenevert‘s main agenda was to assist UTC to select projects that have latent of improving the organization goals and also motivating employees so that the ideas can be prosperous. Also through his management, the organization was able to become the only dealer of the F-35 engine for the US government. Mr. Louis also made UTC’S to be the biggest manufacturer of helicopters and also taking over the market for air conditioning and refrigeration. But in the year 2014, he resigned from United Technologies Corporation and converted to be s private advisor to Marketing Banking Division of Goldman Sachs.
