Every year a financial industry organization called M&A Advisor holds their annual M&A Advisor Awards. The 2017 event was their 16th and a gala for their awards was held in New York City at the Metropolitan Club. One of the big winners of the night was an outfit out of Chicago, Illinois, called Madison Street Capital, LLC. They won the Debt Financing Deal of the Year award which was presented to them due to the work they had done for WLR Automotive.
David Fergusson is the president and co-CEO of M&A Advisors. When releasing a press statement about how Madison Street Capital won he wrote that they were chosen out of 650 other companies in the industry. He said this award was their highest honor when it comes to mergers & acquisitions.
