Sudhir Choudhrie is well-known for his inspiring story about his medical condition at an early age. He had a rare heart condition where his heart’s valve was leaking. In 1999, he got a heart donor from a 20-year-old man after two heart attacks. It was discovered he had a titin gene mutation linked to the heart’s premature failure, and the surgery was performed at Columbia Medical Center, New York. Sudhir is known as the longest-surviving transplant recipient in the world. After the surgery, Sudhir Choudhrie had two essential goals: having positive energy and touching the lives of organ recipients and donors. Together with his family, they created Choudhrie Family Foundation. The foundation has played significant roles in the medical field around the world.

Sudhir Choudhrie has participated in numerous philanthropic activities like the creation of the Oxford University library. He has immensely donated to the education and medical field across the world. Sudhir wrote a book called From My Heart about love, life, and destiny. It became an international bestseller book on Amazon, and he narrates his heart transplant journey. Choudhrie hopes his story will inspire many people to become organ donors and make the world a better living place.
