Ross Cameron wants to be known as something other than an entrepreneur. He created a space where people can engage in trading, and he is happy to have a community to call his own.
Family Life
Although trading and his business are very important to him, his family holds the number one space in Ross Cameron’s heart. In his business, he teaches online trading courses and trades on a regular basis, but when he has the chance, he spends time with his wife and two sons riding mountain bikes, playing tennis, sailing and working on classic cars.
Other Ventures
He cannot be said to be a one-trick pony. He also has a blog all about his precious vehicles that he calls “Tire Kickers by Ross Cameron.” He also makes his own maple syrup. In the wintertime when the days begin to get longer, he has the chance to go into the woods with his sons and tap their sugar maple trees to collect the sap.
Time as a Day Trader
During the learning process, Ross Cameron had many bad days, and they resulted in losing all but $25,000 of his father’s estate. He also accumulated a credit card debt of approximately $30,000, and it did not stop there (Amazon).
On one horrible day, he lost $5,000, and his trading account dipped below $20,000. Traders are not allowed to trade with accounts that are below $25,000. He took the time that he could not trade to learn what he was doing right when he was making good trades, and he discovered his winning strategy. Ross Cameron applied this new strategy and increased his account to $25,000, and he started to climb out of his financial hole.
