Wallace Real Estate’s decision to partner with Choice Home Warranty (CHW) came down to finding the right person to lead it, according to CEO Andrew McGranaghan. “At Wallace, we are always looking for meaningful ways to add value for our agents and clients,” McGranaghan said in announcing the new relationship.

McGranaghan pointed specifically to Maryann Azambuja, a local risk management specialist who has been named the account representative overseeing the partnership. “With Maryann’s experience, responsiveness, and commitment to education, we believe this partnership will be a strong fit,” he said, describing the strategic fit McGranaghan pointed to as central to the decision to work with CHW.

Azambuja will work directly with Wallace Real Estate agents and their clients, helping them evaluate home warranty coverage options as they come up during a purchase or sale. “I am so happy to provide unparalleled care to agents and homeowners,” she said of her new role within the newly formed alliance.

Under the partnership, every property listed through Wallace Real Estate will receive complimentary seller coverage from CHW during the home-selling process. That coverage is meant to help protect sellers from the cost of repairing or replacing major home systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances and other systems that fail due to normal wear and tear, while a home is on the market.

Founded in 2008 with a mission to make home ownership simple and affordable, CHW brings that mission to its new arrangement with Wallace Real Estate, according to McGranaghan, who said the company’s track record was part of what made the partnership a fit. The news of the partnership has since been shared with Wallace Real Estate’s agents and clients, along with information on how to reach Azambuja directly.

McGranaghan’s comments frame the partnership as part of a broader effort at Wallace Real Estate to give agents more to offer clients at every stage of a transaction, from listing a home through closing. With Azambuja now in place as the dedicated point of contact, agents have a clear path to answers whenever home warranty coverage comes up in a conversation with a buyer or seller.
